From the Studio to your Collection

The journey of a Wild Hearts works.

Every work is fully insured during transit, and we take responsibility for ensuring it is carefully prepared, protected and delivered as intended.

From the first handling of the paper to its arrival with a collector, each stage is considered to help preserve the character and condition of the work.

The Preparation

Handled with care.

Before leaving the studio, each original is carefully prepared using archival protective materials.

The work is handled with clean white gloves throughout the preparation process, minimising direct contact with the paper and charcoal surface.

A pair of white gloves is included with the work, ready for careful handling when the artwork is unpacked.

The Protection

Prepared for the journey.

At 160 × 113 cm, a Wild Hearts original requires careful protection when it leaves the studio.

The artwork is secured within a reinforced protective outer tube, providing a rigid layer of protection against the knocks, pressure and movement that can occur during transportation.

The work is then housed within a dedicated mailing tube, providing a further layer of protection for the journey.

The intention is simple: the work should arrive in the condition in which it left the studio.

The Seal

A final detail from the studio.

Inside the protective outer tube, the artwork is housed within a dedicated cardboard mailing tube, finished with the Wild Hearts seal before the work begins its journey.

A small physical detail that carries the identity of the series beyond the studio.

The Documentation

The record travels with the work.

Each work is accompanied by its Certificate of Authenticity and supporting collector documentation.

The documentation identifies the artwork and records its title, materials, dimensions, year and unique identification details, creating a permanent physical record that remains with the work.

For secure delivery, the documentation may travel separately from the artwork and arrive independently.

The Arrival

From the studio to its new collection.

The arrival of an original is the final stage of its journey from the studio.

The work arrives carefully packaged and protected, ready to be handled with the same care with which it left the studio.

The Collection

Ready for its place in the collection.

Once received, the original should remain protected until it is ready to be professionally framed.

Where practical, we recommend arranging framing with a professional fine-art framer before opening the protective packaging.

This allows the work to move from its protective packaging into a controlled framing environment with minimal unnecessary handling.

The natural character of the paper, including its deckled edge, is intended to remain visible as part of the original.

Professional framing with a floating mount, archival materials and UV-protective glazing is recommended.
