About us

Rob Harris is an Australian charcoal artist whose work explores connection, protection, and stillness within the natural world.

He works in close collaboration with his daughter, Georgia Harris. Over the past several years, they have co-drawn more than twenty large-scale charcoal works together, each developed through a shared, deliberate process in the studio. Every finished piece is the result of joint authorship, not assistance or embellishment.

Their practice centres on restraint, scale, and precision. Working exclusively in charcoal on museum-grade paper, the drawings are built slowly through layers of tone and texture, allowing form and emotion to emerge without narrative direction or visual excess.

Across bodies of work including Baby Paws, Cool Bs, and the ongoing Wild Hearts series, their drawings focus on quiet moments of presence. The compositions are intentionally reduced, inviting the viewer to slow down and engage over time.

Rather than seeking spectacle, the work rewards attention. Meaning does not arrive immediately. It settles.

Each piece is signed by both artists.
